DIVERSA ranked finalist during the 6th edition of Spin-off PuntoGal Awards that took place at the auditorium of the Faculty of Economic and Business Science of the University of Vigo last November.
Why does Spin-off PuntoGal exist?
The Spin-off PuntoGal Award has been established by Puntogal and GCiencia to encourage, give visibility, and celebrate the most innovative Galician companies and research groups.
Each candidate can apply to one of the following three categories:
- Seal of quality for companies who reached a prestigious position in the market.
- Emerging idea, to which we applied, to highlight the work of the newly generated companies that have recently entered the market with an innovative idea or product.
- Research groups to emphasize the cutting-edge work of projects within the three Galician universities.
The challenges of being a spin-off
We are very proud of having achieved the recognition of finalist in the Emerging idea category in our first year as a company. Beginnings are not easy for any spin-off company. However, the mention from the jury of the great potential of DIVERSA and its innovative technology shows that we are on the right path.
We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Indestia for the award and for the development of PhotoILike, an AI-based tool that allows selecting pictures that will have more impact on the public, in a real estate setting.
As you can see, participating in challenging activities is part of our DNA. Being a spin-off makes us test our knowledge and continually learn and improve ourselves.
