February is the coldest month of the year in Boston, the world’s largest Healthtech and biotech hub. Flying from the mild Mediterranean winter temperatures to the New England coast in February might therefore seem like a bad idea. But not if you are Víctor Francis, business development manager at DIVERSA and you are on a mission.

The mission in Boston has three main objectives. Firstly, to showcase DIVERSA’s ready-to-go kits (DIVTECH formulations – LINK to Products) to the entire research community attending SLAS2022: university research labs, Contract Research Organizations, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical companies. These kits allow any lab to obtain encapsulating nanosystems in a fast and convenient way. Secondly, DIVERSA is looking for a distributor for the kits in the USCAN markets. Last, but not least, we will be looking for companies in need of a drug delivery system for their candidate molecules to establish contract co-development agreements and the possibility of establishing non-exclusive licenses for specific indications.

DIVERSA participated as an exhibitor at BioSpain 2021, sponsored by the Society for Laboratory Automation and Screening (SLAS). BioSpain is the largest Spanish biotechnology and pharmaceutical partnering event. SLAS offers sponsorship and participation to events to its “Interactive AveNew” program affiliated companies. DIVERSA was selected among a list of biotech startup companies to exhibit at both BioSpain 2021 and SLAS2022.

We hope to meet you in Boston from February 5th to 9th and share with you how our kits and custom formulations work and might benefit your drug discovery efforts. Plus, if you are a USCAN distribution company, please do reach out to explore future partnerships.
